   Design

   Structures are sized and drawn from the study, then approved by the client before production.

   Fabrication

   Cutting, CNC press-brake folding and longitudinal submerged-arc welding.

   Galvanising

   Corrosion protection by hot-dip immersion in molten zinc after surface preparation.

5. 

   Powder coating

   Powder-coat finish on an automated line, in RAL colours (Marcont Colori).

6. 

   Logistics

   Handled with dedicated lifting gear, delivered to site in Morocco or to the port of loading.

Design office

When a request arrives, the design office reviews the project and its site conditions, then the design team sizes the structures. Drawings are approved by the client before production starts. Line supports are calculated with PLS-Pole software.

Fabrication

• Raw material: hot-rolled steel coils in grades and thicknesses suited to the product
• Uncoiling, levelling and cutting to length, then slitting into trapezoids
• Folding on CNC press brakes to form the shells
• Camera-monitored automatic longitudinal submerged-arc welding
• Welding of base plates and fittings, then a check of the steel’s suitability for galvanising

Hot-dip galvanising

After degreasing and pickling, parts are dipped in molten zinc. For DISTRIMAT poles, galvanising is to ISO 1461 with more than 70 µm of zinc inside and outside.

Powder coating

On top of galvanising (duplex system), polyester or epoxy powder is applied on a fully automated line and cured at about 200 °C. Colours and textures are shown in Marcont Colori.

Quality control

Inspections are carried out at every stage, from raw material to finished product and delivery, under defined procedures.

Logistics

Dedicated lifting and gripping equipment, individual traceability of every product, and a transport desk that confirms the delivery date and time slot. In Morocco, crane trucks deliver with their own unloading means; for export, products are delivered to the port of loading or to site in Africa.
